The Information and Library Network (INFLIBNET) Centre is an autonomous Inter-University Centre of the University Grants Commission of India. It was established on 27 February 1991 as a project under IUCAA, and became an independent centre on 16 May 1996. Its headquarters is located in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. The centre aims to modernize university libraries and connects information centres all over India through a nationwide high-speed data network utilizing cutting-edge technologies. Additionally, it promotes the use of information among academicians and researchers and plays a vital role in scholarly communication and knowledge sharing. Furthermore, it facilitates access to academic resources through various digital initiatives and encourages research collaboration. Thus, INFLIBNET Centre makes a significant contribution in strengthening the higher education system in India by integrating Information and Communication Technology (ICT) into library services.

NARAKAS Gandhinagar, constituted by the Department of Official Language, Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, is coordinated by Bank of Baroda, Apex Academy, Gandhinagar. The members of NARAKAS Gandhinagar include all Government of India offices, autonomous institutions, educational institutions, banks, insurance companies, and public sector undertakings located in Gandhinagar. Institutions of national importance such as National Forensic Sciences University, scientific institutions like Institute for Plasma Research, technology institutions like IIT Gandhinagar, state-level offices of the Government of India like Directorate of Census Operations, headquarters of paramilitary forces/defense institutions, and zonal offices of banks/financial institutions bring diversity to this NARAKAS. Through this platform of NARAKAS Gandhinagar, 49 programs including lectures/webinars/competitions on many important subjects were organized by member offices in the year 2024-25. It also organizes NARAKAS Bhasha Samman every year to encourage local litterateurs/linguists/writers of Gandhinagar. NARAKAS Gandhinagar is continuously promoting the implementation of the official language with the cooperation of member offices. In this tradition, the All Gujarat Hindi Seminar is being organized. Following this, the organization of a national-level seminar by NARAKAS Gandhinagar is also proposed later this year.
